Limitless at Goodwood 24/02/2020

Limitless were at Glorious Goodwood on Monday. Although the appalling weather took the shine off from being at one of the most Iconic racing Tracks in the world. But the team were up for a good day.

Mechanical issues with the Trailer (that was carrying our VW Cup Car) in the morning added to a tough start to the day for the Limitless team.

Running in the morning was limited. Due to the weather, it was decided that Johnny would provide everyone with passenger laps (sighting laps) before letting them loose on track.

Social Media Manager James who had not driven at Goodwood before took the BMW out for a quick session in the morning with one of the OpenTrack Instructors. He had an interesting time with the BMW Map set to its maximum.

After Lunch the team set about getting everyone out in the cars for their allotted time. Confidence grew in everyone as they managed to get some steady laps under their belts. Callum Degan did exceptionally well throughout the afternoon, tiptoeing the twitchy BMW around a sometimes waterlogged track.

The VW ran well and after some lunchtime adjustments, was easier to drive in the wet and lap pace was constantly improving.

Next outing at Thruxton on the 30th of March. Fingers crossed for a dry day.
